## How to play

Spider Solitaire is played with two decks dealt into ten columns. Move a card onto any card one rank higher, and move a whole group at once when it runs down in the same suit. Build a complete run from King to Ace in one suit and it leaves the table. Clear all eight runs to win. When you are stuck, tap the stock to deal one new card onto every column — but every column must hold at least one card first. Choose 1 suit for a relaxed game, 2 suits for a real challenge, or 4 suits for the expert version.

## Controls

Mouse: drag cards to a column, or click a card to send it to the best spot. Keyboard: Z or U to undo, D or Space to deal, N for a new game. Phone and tablet: drag or tap cards, tap the stock to deal.

## Tips

- Empty columns are your most powerful tool — use them to untangle mixed-suit stacks instead of filling them with a single card.
- Prefer moves that keep cards in the same suit; a same-suit run can be moved as one piece later.
- Turn over face-down cards early, especially in the tall columns on the left.
- Before dealing from the stock, make every useful move first — a deal covers each column with a new card.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is Spider Solitaire free?

Yes. Spider Solitaire on MoGame is completely free and runs in your browser, with no download or sign-up.

### What is the difference between 1, 2 and 4 suits?

With 1 suit every card is a spade, so almost any stack can be moved together. With 2 or 4 suits you can only move groups that share a suit, which makes the game much harder.

### How is the score calculated?

You start with 500 points. Every move or deal costs 1 point and every completed King-to-Ace run adds 100. Undo is free, but the move you take back still counts.

### Which games count for the leaderboard?

Every won game counts. Each difficulty — 1, 2 or 4 suits — has its own leaderboard of best scores, so you only compete with players on the same difficulty.

### Can I undo moves?

Yes, as many as you like. Your game and its undo history are saved in your browser, so you can come back later.
