Spider Solitaire
Build King-to-Ace runs and clear all ten columns in the classic patience game.
How to play
Spider Solitaire is played with two decks dealt into ten columns. Move a card onto any card one rank higher, and move a whole group at once when it runs down in the same suit. Build a complete run from King to Ace in one suit and it leaves the table. Clear all eight runs to win. When you are stuck, tap the stock to deal one new card onto every column — but every column must hold at least one card first. Choose 1 suit for a relaxed game, 2 suits for a real challenge, or 4 suits for the expert version.
Tips
- Empty columns are your most powerful tool — use them to untangle mixed-suit stacks instead of filling them with a single card.
- Prefer moves that keep cards in the same suit; a same-suit run can be moved as one piece later.
- Turn over face-down cards early, especially in the tall columns on the left.
- Before dealing from the stock, make every useful move first — a deal covers each column with a new card.
