How to play

Every move slides all tiles on the board in one direction. When two tiles with the same number touch, they merge into one with their sum. After each move a new 2 or 4 appears on an empty cell. Create a 2048 tile to win — and keep going for a higher score. The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible.

Tips

• Keep your biggest tile in one corner and build around it.
• Avoid moving in the direction that pulls your big tile out of its corner.
• Fill one row with large values so it rarely has to move.
