Joker Poker
A poker roguelike: play hands, stack jokers and multiply your score to beat every blind.
How to play
Each round is a blind with a target score. You hold eight cards: select up to five and play them as a poker hand, or discard them to draw new ones. Every hand type has base Chips and Mult; the cards that score add their own chips (number cards their value, faces 10, Aces 11), and the final score is Chips × Mult. Reach the target before you run out of hands to beat the blind and earn money. Spend it in the shop on jokers, which add chips, mult or even multiply your mult, and on level-ups that make a poker hand stronger. Each ante has a Small Blind, a Big Blind and a Boss Blind with a nasty twist. Beat the boss of ante 8 to win the run — then keep going in endless mode for a higher score.
Tips
- Order matters: jokers trigger from left to right, so put ×Mult jokers after the ones that add Mult.
- Keep at least $5 between rounds — every $5 you hold earns $1 interest, up to $5 per round.
- Pick one or two poker hands and build around them with matching jokers and level-ups.
- Use discards to fish for a better hand; unused hands are worth $1 each when you beat a blind.
- Check the upcoming boss before you shop, and prepare for it.
